I respect other people’s work. This page explains how to tell me if something on this site uses your copyrighted work without permission.

Before you send a notice

Please check that you really own the work or are allowed to act for the owner, and that the use is not allowed by law (for example, fair use). A notice with false claims can lead to legal trouble, including damages.

It often helps to contact the person who posted the material first. On this site, that is me, so you can also just email me and I will look.

What to send

Email a notice to admin@amandaclass.com. Please include:

  • Your signature, typed or handwritten.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you say was used.
  • Where the material is on this site (the page address).
  • Your name, address, phone number and email.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the owner, the owner’s agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or can act for the owner.

What I will do

A real person reads every notice. I do not accept bulk or automated notices. If a notice is complete, I may remove or block the material and tell the person who posted it. I do not decide who is right. I only check that the notice has what it needs.

If your material was removed

You can send a counter notice to admin@amandaclass.com. Include your signature, a description of what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your name, address, phone and email, and a statement that you agree to the courts in your area. If the person who sent the first notice does not start a court case within 14 days, the material may be put back.

Repeat problems

This site does not let visitors upload content. If I learn that someone keeps copying other people’s work, I may stop working with them or block them.
